Renewable Energy

Nazafah produces and transforms its own energy for the sustainability of energy. With its
"solar energy facility" in the Mersin factory, it has carried out one of the most successful renewable energy production studies in the tissue paper industry worldwide and was awarded. By using cogeneration technology, it provides 80% energy efficiency in its production processes without destructing the forests and using much less water.

Recycling & Waste Management in Production

Nazafah has developed a solid waste management procedure that will support the circular economy with the main principle of sustainable production. For this reason, Nazafah not only decomposes solid wastes at the source, but also reduces them, applies to recycle & regain protocols, aims to keep the waste amount close to zero, and disposes of them in line with the regulations.
